Emerson Epro eddy current sensors are non-contact sensors that use the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the distance between the sensor probe and a conductive target. They are typically used in critical turbomachinery applications such as steam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps and fans to measure radial and axial shaft displacement; position, eccentricity and speed.
Epro eddy current sensors are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the specific needs of different applications. They are designed to operate in harsh environments and are resistant to vibration, shock and extreme temperatures.
