1. Description
The HIMA Cabinet Fan Module is a reliable and efficient way to cool electronic cabinets and enclosures. It is designed to meet the high demands of safety-related applications, and is certified for use in SIL 3 environments.
The module is equipped with two high-performance fans that provide a combined airflow of up to 400 CFM. The fans are also designed for quiet operation, and are mounted on vibration-damping isolators to minimize noise and vibration.
The HIMA Cabinet Fan Module is also equipped with a number of safety features, including:
A temperature sensor that triggers an alarm if the cabinet temperature exceeds a preset level
A fan failure sensor that triggers an alarm if either of the fans fail
A thermal cutout that turns off the fans if they overheat
The module is also available with a variety of optional features, such as:
A dust filter to protect the fans from dust and dirt
A fan speed controller to adjust the airflow to meet the specific needs of the application
A humidity sensor to trigger an alarm if the cabinet humidity exceeds a preset level
